Runners of all abilities, from novices to elite, are being invited to ‘runbristol’
Volunteers
As official race charity for the Bristol 10k run, Bristol based St Peters Hospice are asking volunteers to contact them now if they can help marshal at the event on the morning of Sunday 15 May 2011.
Volunteers are needed from 8 am up until approximately 1pm for a five-hour shift. Marshaling the route, keeping access points clear, helping and directing spectators to view points and handing out bottles of water, medals and goodie bags to runners are among the many tasks volunteers are asked to cover.
Up to 300 volunteers are needed on the day. Volunteers must be aged over 18 – and will need to attend a briefing session at 8 am on the morning of the race.
For further information about volunteering or to register as a volunteer please contact Maria Moon Park, Community Fundraiser at St Peters Hospice, on 0117 915 9328 or e-mail
